Introducing AI Recap v2.0 – Smarter, more accurate, and easier to read
Exciting news: The latest version of Decisions AI meeting recap is live with new features for better accuracy and clearer insights. Highlights include:
Sharper summaries: Enhanced logic for more accurate recaps
Improved readability: Bolded takeaways for easier scanning
Easy editing + sharing: Modify drafts and send via email, meeting chat, or directly to users
Greater meeting-type intelligence: Refined processing for specific meeting experiences
Azure OpenAI 4o upgrade: Decisions meeting intelligence paired with the most advanced AI models (and no intrusive recording bots!)
Note: To make the most of Decisions AI meeting recaps, ensure that an authorized Microsoft 365 admin has approved all the latest permissions for Decisions and Decisions AI within the Decisions Admin Portal; access to AI features may be limited by your internal IT policies or settings.

Have you tried My Meeting Assistant yet? Decisions' AI-powered personal assistant is designed to simplify meeting management and understand how you work, proactively.
Ask it for help with scheduling, daily briefings, agenda creation, meeting recaps, and more — all accessible from the My Assistant tab in Decisions.
Enable automatic recordings directly from Decisions
To ensure that meeting discussions are accurately captured by Decisions AI, it's essential to enable Automatic Recording and Transcription in your Teams meetings.
Meeting organizers and co-organizers can now toggle this setting directly from the Decisions agenda view by clicking the switch next to "Automatic Recording."
Note: This requires that your Microsoft 365 tenant settings are set to enable both recording and transcription, which are also vital settings for Decisions AI to create meeting summaries.
Access Teams Meeting Options right from the agenda view
If you've struggled to locate the Meeting Options for a Teams meeting, you're not alone! With our latest update, meeting organizers and co-organizers can access these essential settings directly from the agenda view — no need to navigate through Teams or Outlook calendars.
These options include controls for security (e.g., who can bypass the lobby), audio and video management, engagement tools like attendance reports, role assignment, and automatic recording and transcription.
Convert attachments to PDFs in Decisions
You can now convert individual attachments to PDFs directly within Decisions! This update makes it easier to standardize documents, a particularly useful feature for board meetings.
When you convert an attachment, the PDF will replace the original file in the agenda, with the original safely stored in a separate subfolder.
Stay tuned for future enhancements, including bulk conversion of multiple files and options to access or revert to original files directly from the agenda.
